Developed an advanced AI-based tool that enables users to clone any speaker's voice and generate speech in six languages: English, Afrikaans, Hmong, Indonesian, Japanese, and Somali. The system integrates a speaker encoder, synthesizer, and vocoder. By inputting a voice sample and desired text, the tool produces the text in the input speaker's voice.
The encoder model was trained on a variety of datasets, including LibriSpeech, VCTK Corpus, and NPTEL courses, to ensure accurate voice replication, even for Indian accents. This tool is ideal for voice-over, dubbing, and personalized speech synthesis applications.
Developed a web app-based navigation assistance system for visually impaired individuals. The system captures real-time video using a smartphone, which is then sent to a server for processing. The video frames undergo preprocessing, and obstacles are identified using a monocular depth estimation technique.
After detecting the obstacles, the system estimates their location and provides real-time navigation assistance through audio feedback.
